Due to the nature of academia, the members of the working group are continuously changing. Researchers become post-docs and students get their bachelor or master degree. This enables us to offer open positions in various domains. With new manpower and further topics of interest, the knowledge base of the CSE working group can grow.

In particular, we offer open positions for the following projects:

  • NEW: Research Position / TVL-E13 / full time / project SafeTrAIn / contact: frank.ortmeier(at)ovgu.de and konstantin.kirchheim(at)ovgu.de

If you are interested in any of the open positions just send us an email to the corresponding contact.

If none of the given positions fits your interests, we are always looking for talented young scientists in the field of software engineering. If you are interested in working and researching as a member of a young and dynamic group in the broad field of software engineering, do not hesitate to send us your initiative application. Or even if you only want to get informed about open positions or want to know if your interests fit our research goals, just contact us right away under (frank.ortmeier(at)ovgu.de or julia.gordalla(at)ovgu.de).

Topics fitting to our current research are for example:

  • trajectory generation and planning of reliable and safe robot motions
  • self-adaptive code and automated code understanding and interpretation
  • pervasive assistance systems using artificial intelligence
  • safety analysis of autonomous systems
  • formal verification of system and software designs
  • dependability in (intelligent) software and system design
